Cultural Activites

We are delighted to invite our dear students and friends to join us for a guided visit to the Museum of the Monastery of São Vicente de Fora.
More than just a guided tour, this visit offers a unique opportunity for language immersion while exploring some of the most significant periods in Portuguese history, from the founding of Portugal in the 12th century to the present day.
Together, we will also admire the monastery’s remarkable architecture and enjoy breathtaking views over Lisbon from one of the city’s most beautiful hidden viewpoints.
This is a truly memorable experience that you won’t want to miss!
We look forward to sharing it with you!
Book Club Meetings

For the 7th session of our book club, we’ve chosen to talk about our quaint capital, Lisbon!
The book we chose was commissioned for EXPO 98 – a world exposition that was organized in Lisbon in 1998 – with the intent on having a literary work dedicated to the city of Lisbon.
That said, having creative freedom on his side, instead of writing a tourist itinerary or a text with historical facts, José Cardoso Pires wrote a love letter to Lisbon.
He included chronicles, memories, and talked about its artists, characters, and their daily lives (both the good and not so good aspects).
Join us at Saudade on August 1st, at 15:00, to discuss Lisbon from a different perspective from how we experience it every day!
