Book Club #5: Month of Lusophony
On May 30th, we held the 6th session of our Book Club Entrelinhas!
World Portuguese Language Day, celebrated on May 5th and officially established in 2009 by the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), honors the Portuguese language as a shared cultural heritage, bringing together Lusophone communities to celebrate their diversity, creativity, and unique cultural expressions.
In honor of this special day, the book selected by the members of our club for this session was Quem Me Dera Ser Onda, by the Angolan author Manuel Rui.
You can learn more about this author here (PT) and here (EN).
