Between the Lines Reading Circle

Reading and conversation in Portuguese

Reading is a place of encounter.
At Saudade, we believe that learning the Portuguese Language is also learning a culture, a way of being in the world, a people.

It is in this shared space that our Reading Club Entrelinhas comes into being.

All selected works belong to Portuguese literature and have been carefully chosen and prepared, with curatorship by teacher Patrícia Espinha and pedagogical coordination led by Dora Guedes.

Through open-ended questions and each participant’s personal experience, we create space for silence, reflection, and thoughtful disagreement. Sessions include moments of reading aloud, followed by guided conversation, shared reflections and much more.

Who is it for?
Students with an A2/B1 level or higher who are interested in deepening their contact with the Portuguese language through literature and conversation.

When and where?
The club meets once a month at Saudade Language School for 90 minutes, on the last Saturday of each month.

How to enroll?
Places are limited, so registration is required. Send us an email to reserve your spot: info@saudadelanguageschool.com
