Walking Tour: Alfama

On the 9th of June we took our students through the most picturesque streets and alleys in Alfama!

This tour happened just few days before the biggest celebration of Santos Populares in Lisbon so they could see and apreciate this neighbouhood fully equipped and colorfully decorated.

The murmur of the locals chatting, the sound of Fado coming from the various fado houses, the colourful clothes hanging on the clotheslines, the wonderful smell of typical Portuguese food, and so much more at every corner!

Our students loved this experience and can’t wait for the next tour, set to happen soon on June 22nd!

Saudade Language School
