Museum of Fado

Located in Largo do Chafariz de Dentro, in the heart of the Alfama neighborhood, the Fado Museum is dedicated to Fado Music and the Portuguese Guitar.

Saudade school took the students on a guided tour in Portuguese, covering the origins of Fado up to the present day.

The students learned the names of the most famous Fado singers, guitarists, and composers in Fado history, while also listening to the most iconic songs!
Our students were able to see, hear, and feel Fado, Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity!

Saudade Language School
