Museum of Fado

Located in Largo do Chafariz de Dentro, in the heart of the Alfama neighborhood, the Fado Museum is dedicated to Fado Music and the Portuguese Guitar.

Our guided tour offered us a deep dive into the emotions and connections inherent in Fado music.

Our students gained insights into the instruments, melodies, and influential singers who have shaped the genre throughout its history.

After the visit, we enjoyed some Ginjinha in the traditional neighbourhood of Alfama, a perfect opportunity for students to unwind and socialise together!

Saudade Language School
