Maria Lamas and Her Women: Photo Exhibition

On the 2nd of April, our Saudade students took part in a unique experience by visiting the Maria Lamas photographic exhibition.

This remarkable woman, journalist, writer, educator, researcher, translator, and photographer was a tireless defender of human and civil rights along with dictatorship, leaving an impressive legacy in the 20th century.

With each photograph, we feel Maria Lamas’ strength and passion for telling stories through the lens of her camera.

Saudade Language School
