Marta was born in Lisbon and grew up in Sintra, one of the most beautiful towns in Portugal.

She has a degree in Portuguese Literature and Linguistics, and holds a Master’s degree in Portuguese as a second language, by the Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa.

At Saudade, as the Head of the Knowledge Department, she is the ideal person to consult with about any matter of the Portuguese language.

She is absolutely passionate about the Portuguese language, therefore, teaching is the perfect outlet for her, as well as an opportunity to share this beautiful language with many people that each day are willing to learn it.

Marta enjoys learning different languages and getting to know different cultures and other points of view on all kind of subjects.

In her classroom, she can travel all around the world!
